I replied to the SMS accordingly. On arrival at the pickup we were met by an inarticulate driver with a decrepit bone-shaking Ford Transit which was wholly inappropriate in every respect. The experience was appalling. "

However a 4 passenger saloon vehicle was supplied and another 4 passenger had to be sent a few minutes later for the rest of the group. Not the level of service I was hoping for on this occasion. The driver that 3 of us travelled with (BW17 CWI) was very polite and friendly and apologetic - I have no complaints in that respect; just that the vehicles supplied were not as booked or of a similar type/size."

I phoned the control phone number of Bicester Taxis at 3.52pm who said he would be there within 5 minutes, but the taxi was only given the job at 3.51pm from Bicester so there is no way he could have been with us by 3.55pm. The main number didnt answer the phone, and the driver did his best to get us to the train on time. It put him in a dangerous situation having to rush and the service of Bicester Taxis was terrible. I will not use them again. "

"The driver was 30min late. He drove a van that had clearly been some type of delivery van in a past life, and had been reoutfitted with two rows of seats. We had requested a small car. When we entered we saw a bunch of trash behind the drivers seat. The inside of the van was all metal. We would have been dead in a minute had the car hit anything. Ceiling had a light material in it. Floors were bare. The seats were some of the most uncomfortable one could sit in. There was almost no padding. Im 5ft 8in and weigh 53kg and could feel the metal frame below me when sitting. So could my skinny daughter. The backs of seats were same. And so upright. We left the car with aches all over. The driver spoke incessantly on the phone (using headphones granted) for the duration of the 2+ hour ride. He spoke to multiple people and was loud and shouting the entire time. When I asked him a question about why he was late, he went on about how he hadn’t even wanted the job as he would have to drive many hours and get back late. He wouldn’t drop it. He seemed to be nice and relatively friendly, but a bit crazy. All in all, it was a terrible ride. Still thinking about it the following day. "

The drivers drove aggressively, especially on the return journey, and would use their mobiles without hands free during the drive. Some of the seat-belts on the return journey also did not work, so together with the lack of seat-belts and aggressive and dangerous driving, we had a terribly uncomfortable and sometimes scary ride home. Making it £16.00. Addresses, route, distance, time etc were exactly the same - nothing at all had changed. This is an increase of over 68%!!!!!!!!!! At this point you'd got me by the balls! - I'd paid the £9.50 on card, I was in a rush, had no other quick option but to pay the extra!!! This made your service an absolute con trick! I won't use this online service ever again as a result! Nor will my friends! Will go direct to the taxi company and agree price with them direct before the contract is entered. If the amount was more - I'd be contacting my solicitor! This is a very very very bad way to run an online service."
